Small Rectangles
"This is the first time since 1975 that I've painted small rectangles. The space is intimate, the color hot,
and they reach into the fourth dimension.
"They immediately connect with my audience in the way that rectangles do, suggesting doors and
windows to secret spaces. They remind me of pages from medieval illuminated manuscripts."
